infinite scroll
I have already been on the forums here and found the other posts about this and followed the guide about uninstalling USB controllers. I have uninstalled EVERY usb device and driver and the issue persists. The game just infinitly scrolls on the main menu. When I time my button press correctly and finally get into the game my character just runs UP and there is nothing I can do. Please help!

Do you have any third party key mapping drivers installed? They usually mess with key input signals.

I did, but I tried uninstalling all of them, 1 at a time until every single one of them was uninstalled and it still does it.

What about Steam's mapping tools? Have you tried that?
Maybe even configure it to see if it can stop.

Also, do you have a virtual mouse? That can sometimes cause issues like this too.

for some reason forcing steam to use a controller stopped the issue, thank you! No idea what it was but it works now
