god encounter? 「神」遭遇 ・・spoiler / ネタバレ・・　[EN/JP]
earlier i was messing around, when i walked outside of town i was attacked by "god". i've never seen this before, he did lightning attacks to set fire to items in my inventory and then a slime attacks which destroyed my equipment. i reloaded my game but i could not get him to spawn again. does anyone know how to spawn this again? can he be killed? is it a rare chance?

i have a video but unfortunately i only recorded a few seconds of it (very end of clip)

以前、私はいじり回っていましたが、町の外を歩くと、神に襲われました。　これまでに見たことがない。 雷の攻撃でアイテムが点火し、腐食の攻撃でギアが壊れた。ゲームを再ロードしたとき、再びそれを見ませんでした。
他の誰かがこのボスに遭遇しましたか？ 殺せますか？再度遭遇する方法はありますか？

I encountered him when my grudge level was at its maximum, but i believe it's a random event.
Yes, he can be defeated! It takes quite a lot of time to do so though. Here's my advice:

Try attacking him only when he's resting, he does a LOT of damage. Also make sure you have the Badass Badge, 4-5 regeneration grass, potions / food, Reaper's Sickle and Reaper's Eye, it will be much easier.

ohoo, yeah the grudge level would make sense. i was farming crafting materials off the little girl event in totori at the time (which is why i was wearing the tattered robes in the clip). that's awesome that you can defeat him. i'll try to be better prepared next time, thanks!
