STEAM DECK TEST
The game does not seem to work on the Steam Deck. White (blank) screen on startup was fixed by pressing R2 (right trigger) but no further input was acknowledged. The touch-pad and right joystick move the cursor, but none of the button inputs seem to be registered when attempting to select from the start menu.

Not exactly on a Steam Deck, but I had the same problem (on Nobara Linux).

Solution that worked for me:

I have set (controller options in big picture mode) Steam input to "Forced on." After entering the controller config menu in game, it suddenly picked up my controller. Works flawlessly ever since.

Change your control scheme from the default keyboard+mouse to one of the gamepad ones. Works like a charm now.

Works for me, just have to tap the screen when it's white and you get to the main menu. My only problem is the text is a little illegible

Works perfectly fine for me. Only issue I have is the text is a little messed up probably from the 800p resolution.

Text is broken no matter what but becomes more readable if you rename the font file. More readable text but spacing could be a bit of a headache.

works with the latest proton. the issue with nonredablle text still there tho

Font is now normal and no longer broken on latest Proton Experimental.

It actually looks like as broken as it was 3 years ago when i reported it in protondb
