Why the stupidity, Sega?
Who in their right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind would delist a game where people love it, and keep buying it, and better yet, steam doesn't charge you anything for keeping it up, and you're your own publisher, They charged you $100 back when you published the game... and they gave it back to you, you've only been earning, Sega.

This is the stupidest feat I've ever seen in my life - stupider then rockstar pulling all their original GTA games from the platform - and if you're making remasters, you'd be on par with them.

Remember kids and future game developers, don't be a sega, when there's literally zero ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ negatives.

Note: I'd get it if valve was charging them and no one was buying it anymore, but you don't get charged money for keeping store pages up, they just did this because they wanted to.

Licensing is the issue, mainly for the music.

idk if they had to pay anything to put the game on steam this is before even steam greenlight existed.

Nah, the music licensing wasn't the issue. SEGA delisted ALL of their Dreamcast games including the NiGHTS remaster and the Sega Genesis/Megadrive Collection. The CEO of SEGA said recently when asked about a Sega Saturn or Dreamcast Mini console in the future, that "SEGA is not a retro company."

The only reasons I can think of as to why SEGA is now delisting all of their old retro games from Steam is they're either A) getting ready to make ANOTHER retro Sega collection or B) REALLY don't want to be known as that "retro company" and are focusing on the future and new IPs by "erasing" the past.

I don't get it myself. I mean, all SEGA really has are their retro games. SEGA hasn't put out anything good or noteworthy since they left the console market with the exception of a small handful of Sonic games, and even then not all of those Sonic games have been good.

How is this any worse than any other game getting delisted? I mean, I'm sure you know that this happens a lot.

Mainly because it's a classic, and it's not any worse, It's happened to all three of the GTA trilogy, in place we've got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ remasters, just as bad, and I hate it. and this post was reflecting that.

Lots of classic games get delited. My library is full of them. Getting mad won't bring them back to this store.

Be glad you actually have the game. Some don't and therefore can't get it anymore.
