failed to find steam
okay i try to start game and i get a pop up that says failed to find steam. then it opens a connection in chrome to the steam front page of the store.

anyone got a fix?

yeah it works. gotta close steam then relaunch it which takes a bit of time since it does an update.

there is no ClientRegistry.blob file in Steam folder

it is a hidden file meaning you have to make windows display it

No. Finally, I solved the problem!
You should have your steam installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam
And the game should be installed there also!
Game path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Runaway A Road Adventure

Now it works fine!

For me it was because Steam was installed on my C:\ drive while the game was on my D:\ drive. The following fix did the trick nicely.

While I know I'm linking to a DeusEx reddit thread, the same fix works for this game for me at least.
