In my run I had the least fun in High Road and Sunset Vista, especially High Road which I found it more annoying then Vista.
While Sunset Vista is obnoxiously long, is still more manageable then High Road.
Not even Stormy Ascent or Slippery Climb gaved me so much trouble like those 2 levels.

And for me the most fun was Toxic Waste and The Lab they are both short and challenging.

While the Lab is not a easy level, but if u are aiming for gold yeah is possible and is quite easy to obtain, but if u are going for platinum then is hell, the time is too strict.

I actually kind of liked High road. lot more manageable if you get good at running on the ropes.

Hot take: my least favourite time trials in Crash 1 are for the Hog riding levels. They're both so easy to get the platinum relic time on; so long as you smash all the crates, you're practically guaranteed a platinum time as you move at a fixed speed for these levels - you can't speed up or slow down like you can with Polar in Cortex Strikes Back or Pura in Warped which drastically limits the speedrunning potential. :polar:

As for my favourite: Probably The Lab. A fun challenge to speedrun, and it also helps that unlike Sunset Vista or Stormy Ascent, it's a short level that's beatable in about a minute so redoing the level doesn't feel too punishing. It's for that same reason that I really enjoyed speedrunning Cortex Castle in It's About Time.
The least fun I had was probably in the darkness levels (lights out and Fumbling in the Dumbling) you’re already supposed to rush through those levels to an extent but you gotta completely rush them in the time trials and you don’t have any checkpoints so it’s even more trial and error, The Lab was a ball ache too, and ofc Stormy Ascent, that was the one I spent the most amount of time on (but I also accidentally got the platinum relic for it), Don’t really know my favorite level to time trial in general but I fairly liked most of them, time trials are always my favorite parts of 100%ing Crash games, Crash 1 was probably my favorite crash game to time trial in general cause you’re given a bigger challenge since you don’t have a crash dash and you have to find ways to rush through these levels with Crash’s limited moveset and levels built with patience in mind, but it was fun, I liked it, (also cause Crash 1 is my favorite of the trilogy), got the most platinum relics in that game than any of the others (mostly cause they’re pretty generous with the relic times imo)

I can't remember my least favourite anymore. But my favorite was definitely The Lab. The time for the platinum is really strict. But I managed to get 0:41:91. :crashbcoot::Speech_Alert:

I also loved Cortex Castle level in Crash 4! :crashbcoot::Speech_Love:
