Latest version should be labeled as Slipstream 2.

I have been playing Slipstream since the Beta from kickstarter. After taking a long break from this game, I decided to come back and play this game again. The latest update of this game is too different and I swear this would have been perfect if they label slipstream 2 on the latest version of Slipstream 1. Anyone else think the latest game should have been Slipstream 2?

Update: Thanks gosh you can still able to play the legacy version in right-click properties>betas> change NONE to Legacy.

I hear you, it is different, but I don't think it has stray that far from its roots. I think that most of the game is still true to its core. Slipstream 2 would be in fact A lot more different, if it were ever to be a thing.

I still miss the initial beta release on GameJolt. It's was a really challenging OutRun clone, while the end result (with the magic of kickstarter) turned this game into a rather mediocre and exceptionally easy / boring Top Gear wannabe. Still visually impressive with decent soundtrack and fluid gameplay but straying far away from its initial concept. It's just sad.
