Can't choose reversed Grand Prix cups anymore?

Unless I am missing something, the new menu to choose GP cups doesn't let the player pick the reversed courses. This also makes 100% impossible to get for anyone who didn't beat them already.

Edit: I was mistaken, the gems unlock with stock and custom cups, not regular and reverse. Ignore this.

I loaded up the previous version (1.2.4) and it's only in Grand Tour that it's possible to select reversed tracks. That is still possible in the new version (1.3.0), plus it's possible to select a random mode where the tracks are shuffled around.
