You can play through the campaign co-op in Splitscreen mode, but it's not currently possible to play through the campaign while online.

Is this still the case? The store page says it has online co-op on the right side under features.

It's referring to the team game modes when hosting or joining custom lobbies.

Well that's misleading.. Games like Battlefield and Call of Duty don't call team deathmatch "co-op".

Yeah I feel ya. It's not intended to be misleading. I looked at similar games for reference when we were setting up the Steam page. We saw games like Rocket League had online co op listed, despite not having any sort of co op campaign either. I think it does fit, but I do wish the tags could be more clear on exactly what is what.

In Wave Break, you can play any of the modes except campaign co op, including: time attack, deathmatch, turf war, the park creator, and the custom park creator game modes.
