Edward and Lissie Will Return!
My reaction upon reading this at the end credits...

"Please don't".

Sorry, but it wasn't enjoyable enough to warrant a sequel/spin-off. Not even nearly.

Edward and Lissie weren't even likeable characters. Edward was creepy, and Lissie was annoying (old bean). And there was no 'chemistry' between them at all. They just seemed poorly matched.

Red Thread would be much better off putting their time/money/resources etc into something else. Anything else.
Heck, I'd even rather pay for a four-hour Dreamfall spin-off game than another Draugen.

The only thing Edward and Lissie did for me was make me want to replay "Bioshock Infinite". Which is clearly what Red Thread were going for (in terms of the main characters influence), but fell massively short of.

If you don't wamnt them to return, you can simply decide not to buy a next game.

I would love to see a sequal: I can't wait.

It is not a game for you: that is obvious. Why then, do you put so much energy in postoing about your dislike (not just in this post, but in many...)?

Except Red Thread is a small studio and don't have the money/resources for making multiple games. So another Draugen game would come at the expense of them not making a different game which has more potential.

So it's Draugen OR something else. I vote for something else...

Chiming in on an old post to say I would love a sequel, and I'm finding Lissie & Teddy very endearing and heartwarming together as a pair :nekoheart:

I agree.
For me, Edward is not creepy, he has inner Demons to fight and Lissie as his "Ghost" was very well performed.
I hope for more.

They took your advice and I wish they hadn't. I'd take Draugen 2 over their latest game any day.

Considering how terrible Dustborn has been recieved and has almost zero sales I doubt Red Thread will be around much longer. I'm guessing OP is gonna get their wish and Edward and Lissie will never return. Bit of a shame that.
