Also in coop only the person that hosts can control them.
But if you like the idea of a light lance backing you up its def worth it. I stick to the tonnage limit when using it (doesnt indicate going over the limit). but man its fun to have 8 lights on the field!! It helps my brother as i can bring in some lights to follow him around.
Him actually talking about it. so you get the idea.
Saw one that turns the game into an RTS with a birds eye view, and allows you to individually command every allied unit on the map and order them around. It's still in alpha stage and has bugs to be worked out, but seems like it'd would have a lot of potential going for it.
