Maaaayne but where???
Trying to fit out my first 90+ ton mech (which is a pretty sizeable leap up in ability for my poor lv6 relatively small merc company) and I'm struggling to find ammo for one of its guns. Trying to run an LB 10-x. I've been all over and spent a LOT of credits looking but not finding so if anyone knows where I can pick some up that'd be amazing lol
Edit: More context. I have a temporary build set up for it that I'm running it in while I search for the ammo

It's random but ill give you a tip that weapon sucks...

Use an ac10bf instead and go for headshots

With some of the equipment on this mech I'd have to sacrifice something or another to fit the AC10bf lol. I would have went that route already as that was one of my primary weapons I used on my orion. I don't really want to make those sacrifices

Since too effing stupid to do a mere google search for :Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries weapon and equipment release dates on the timeline

If you are not on or after the weapon or equipment release date, for those weapons added in the timeline, you will not find it or ammo in the industrial zones.

I do appreciate that. But also, imagine being both helpful, and a ♥♥♥♥ at the same time lol. My google was pretty filled with reddit posts about how the weapon itself was either good or bad so yeah I kinda gave up on that my bad. either way, 'preciate the link sir.

I do appreciate that. But also, imagine being both helpful, and a ♥♥♥♥ at the same time lol. My google was pretty filled with reddit posts about how the weapon itself was either good or bad so yeah I kinda gave up on that my bad. either way, 'preciate the link sir.

the amount of no searching for answers on here and reddit is mindboggling. Sidenote, Sarna's MW5 wiki has literally everything in one place. Plus Sarna has the lore... all... the... lore...

This game is my first foray, entirely in the battletech universe. I'm learning as I go more or less. I usually, if nothing else try to search for quick answers and if I don't find one I'll ask around.

I am genuinely curious what people are searching for cause when I googled Mechwarrior 5 LBX-10 yeah the first bunch of posts were redditors with outdated info but second result was sarna?

It's normal around here... read any post the people are toxic as f but also pretty helpful.

Tell you what's good for getting answers ai... leave google and just ask ai. I had to use ai to find which weapons were added for each dlc as its not listed anywhere weirdly...

I probably used a wrong word in the search and that's my fault. Still, ignorance is only beaten by searching for answers. Asking others more knowledgeable then yourself is a way of searching for answers. People should really learn to stop berating others for it.

Its all good. My job has me VERY used too all kinds of different people. The big thing I took from his post was his answer to my question.

LBX AC are good against small fast mechs. Basicly a giant shotgun. But you can use ppx instead, which are more widly available.

Yeah I'm trying to fit the lbx ac as this version of the banshee I got came with a single gauss cannon, and three ppcs lol. I wanted to add a few more more close range weapons for in close fighting. Settled on 2 ac5 bursts and 2 med pulse lasers so far
