I recently gained access to 2 steam keys for BattleTech currently priced at 39.99.

At the same time, I got a Key for the game Mercenaries 5 but without any of the DLC.

While It would not bother me to continue playing Mercenaries 5 without the DLC, I thought maybe I could trade my BattleTech keys for Mercenaries 5 DLC keys. Since I own BattleTech already, I have no use for the keys that I have.

However, I think this would be an unlikely trade due to trust issues that would come from such a trade. I just thought it could not hurt to ask.

Why 2 steam keys for BT?

Just wait for the next Mw5 dlc sale buddy...

BattleTech is a better game, especially with the BTA3062 mod. But I literally have 2 keys on my shelf. If I can trade keys with someone that also has keys or can get them for cheaper, it would help out us both.

To be honest, I don't want to spend anything on this game's DLC because like I said, BattleTech is a superior game. After I get the 18 achievements, I'll most likely uninstall this game. However, my thoughts on the matter was maybe the DLC helps to transform the game, such as the addition of cantinas.

DLC 1, 3, 4 and 6 transform the game by giving you new game systems to engage.

1 = Cantina
3 = Melee weapons
4 = Rival Mercs
6 = Arenas, providing you with missions at the industrial hubs

I create content for NexusMods, and they pay their programmers with Steam Keys and GoG Keys for various games.

As I stated above, I doubt anyone will show interest. But thanks for your 2 cents.

Mechwarrior 5 is a niche game at this point. I don't see a point to pay listing fees for something that might never sell on ebay.

There are only around 800 people playing this game at peak hours as it is. I just posted in the event something could come of it... Ultimately, I'll end up deleting this thread when I get the 18 achievements.

Have you tried posting your trade deal on the MW5 suberddit? There's some semblance of regular activity over there, so might be worth a try. Or just the general battletech suberddit as an option too.

No, I have avoided Reddit. While it is popular, it is easy to drown in that platform.
