I have normal train tracks coming to the depot from the other side. Also power come from the train tracks by a bypass.
Metro trains also can not travel on normal train tracks, so they can't drive themself to the T-junction to rejoin the metro track. Unless the game makes an exception for that.
In reality what I would need is that the large vehicle storage allows Metroline connection. Then I can setup a line with a locomotive to bring metro trains to said storage and then sell them after selling 1 or 2 full trains of Metro's.
I think you also have to manually take old metro trains off the line and have them hauled off to a scrapping facility too, but I haven't messed around with that as much.
- Large vehicle storage should allow metro connection.
- Scrapping yard also should allow for metro connection (although still rather annoying).
What we really need a vehicle distribution office but yeah that probably will never happen.
