Could you maybe check this with new game.. just build few building.. did you able to notice also on new game.. ?
Also it is somehow expected, that this setting it will drop FPS especially when zoom in.. as there are more pixels for pixelshader with shadow calculation
Speaking of 4XXX series RTX, got like 3 users who reported very low FPS, however due to 2D UI rendering.. they fixed this by updating BIOS (as all their systems was old Windows 10 updated to 11, while update failed to update bios)
Anybody else with this problem?
I use a Intel 265k CPU.....

all is running as expected with Ultra settings at 4k and with all other quality settings at their highest.
I do not see any issues that I would not expect.
Ever since Nvidia launched their 5000 series of GPU's their drivers have been an issue. The last ones to support the 4000 series WITHOUT including the 5000 ones were from December of last year. They are known at the 566.36 drivers. Many people without a 5000 series of cards do find those to be better for them, for so many reasons.
I will take a look when zooming in and then add that here. There is a performance hit when zooming.
When zoomed in at this location my FPS will drop from around 55 plus to that of 35. There will be variations....

I'll try it as soon as possible. In the meantime I've also updated the GPU drivers, so I'll check it on the current savegame and if this doesn't change it, I'll make a new game. However, even if it works on a new game, there's a chance that it might occur later on when population etc gets bigger, I think. So a new game might not necessarily a real indicator. What do you think?
As I wrote above, it's occurs on "medium" zoom factor.
oO
Well, I can check if a new BIOS is available for my system (I doubt), but usually I only update BIOS when doing a fresh install of the system. If it's really BIOS related I'd want a confirmation that the BIOS is the issue ;)
