Actually loading any save or even starting a new game causes crashing too.

I was able to fix this by deleting all of the bin files SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SovietRepublic\media_soviet\save\my save game name

Just notice there.. deletion of all bin files from save will damage the save :) .. in case new game is not working.. most common failure is that steam failed to properly update the game and verify files should help.. another case is mods, sometime you may subscribe to mods which preventing to launch new game..
