For players on beta: I personally do not recommend testing the beta and using workshop assests, you can but the purpose of this is to open it up to testing for a larger group of people. Some assests may not work properly and be mistaken as legitimate bugs which then get reported and takes time away from the dev.

For modders: In addition it is not recommended to update mods to the current beta especially if they contain multiple assets as this can cause crashing for people still playing on the stable branch. There however is no reason you cannot release mods specifically for the current version, just be mindful and make it clear what it is for.

Players that like using mods, please take this all into consideration when proceeding to join the beta branch or when you experience crashing on the stable branch. And be patient with modders as they need to wait to update their packs.
