Higher-education workers who did not move out of their student dormitors had to wait inside the subway stations, but could not board.
Hello everyone. When playing the updated version on Sept. 29, it was found that the graduated workers who still live in the student dormitory were unable to get on the subway to meet their needs. In detail, they can go to the subway station and wait for the train, but when the train comes in, they will not get on the train. Until the 1 hour waiting time is exhausted, then they transmit back to the student dormitory.
I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem. Maybe it's a bug?

What they were waiting for then? And was that thing in reach of the station/next stations in line? And does your line allow passengers/students/workers to board or not?

There can be a lot to block them going anywhere

This group, like everyone else on the subway at this station, going to enter the city for culture, food, meat and a range of other needs. But everyone else can get on the subway, but they can't. And I have checked the problems you mentioned, and there are no problems.

How did I find out about this? First of all, I found that some people in the student dormitory could not meet their food needs, but the ordinary houses next to it did not have this problem. I then clicked through the numbers of people who didn't get on the train and who were on the train, and I found that even though they had the same needs to meet, higher-education workers living in college dorms were not on the trains where there were plenty of empty seats.

Interesting. I usually have a food source and other needs in foot reach for those guys. Interesting they cannot travel, good testing on your part

Thanks bro. I will provide the needs facilities within walking distance for those workers until this issue is fixed.

Nice catch! I have been getting unhappiness warnings from graduated students in dormitories, but never figured out why...
I'm guessing they should move to a real house after they graduate, but as in my case there were no available houses they get stuck living in the dormitory... workaround is to move them manually to a new house

Recently, I found that illiterate workers could not take the subway to school.

Of course not, they cannot read the station signs to get off at the correct station. :-)

Considering that the subway is currently the main mode of commuting in my city, it may be necessary to further test other modes of transportation to confirm whether the subway is the only one with this problem.

I'm pretty sure the issue is the citizen type boarding/disembark requirements being messed up for dorm students again. During their free time, they can only board and disembark at stops that allow students with a basic education to board/disembark:

Here is one such dorm student.

Interesting. Can you share more of those pictures/rules you found, as you are absolutely thorough in your tests afaik and my guess is that this is not the only settings you find (not) working regarding this.

Actually this is the only public transit requirement that is messed up as far as I can tell, or at least I don't see a reason to for dorm students to only board student lines on their free time. They still wait at stations set to allow passengers to wait there, so I suspect this is an error from fixing it last time.

I don't think more pictures are necessary though, as it is pretty easy to replicate. To see it for yourself, just build a dorm, fill it with people, and then set up line to take them to services. If you only allow passengers to board/disembark the line, then none of the dorm students will board, but if you allow students with basic education to board/disembark the line, then they should get on and off.
