How to Report Bugs!
Hello everyone! We're so thankful for all of you who have taken the time to play our game! We're aware that some of you are having issues with Clawface and we'd like to fix these as fast as possible! To help you help us, we've created this forum for submitting bug reports and this thread with a list of common things that, if you include with your report, will greatly assist us in resolving the problems you find.

Submission Requirements
When you submit a bug report, the following three items are recommended:
  • The Problem!
  • Your Computer's Hardware Details
  • A copy of your Unity Player Log
=== The Problem ===
This is the most obvious: tell us what went wrong! Be as descriptive as you can. Include things such as:
  • Were you in the game or at a menu?
  • Is it a problem with the editor or the game itself?
  • Is the problem related to the UI?
  • Steps to reproduce the problem.
If you can think of anything else to include, do so! The more information we have the faster we can resolve issues that we didn't discover prior to pushing an update.

=== Your Computer's Hardware Details ===
Clawface currently runs (more or less) on the three Desktop Platforms available on Steam. But support isn't perfect and there could be problems that occur only on a single platform. Because of this, the following information will be really, really useful:
  • Your Operating System (AND OS version)
  • Your Graphics Card Data (i.e. Integrated Graphics, NVidia 750M, etc.)
  • The amount of RAM your computer has.
Including this information will allow us to rule out certain problems as well as collate issues that seem like they're happening for everyone, but are really just happening on one platform.

=== A copy of your Unity Player Log ===
This can help us resolve issues that are much harder to describe. The player log may include error readouts that we can use to track down elusive bugs that might not be happening for everyone or may be an extreme edge case we hadn't thought of.

Please don't post your Player Log in the thread you make. Use a service such as PasteBin[www.pastebin.com]. This allows the thread to stay small and readable.

You can find the Player Log located in the following locations:

--- Linux Users ---
The player log is located at:
~/.config/unity3d/Hathos Interactive, LLC/Clawface/Player.log

You can find the log using the file manager of your choice or through the terminal. If you use a GUI interface, you may have to reveal hidden files.

--- MacOS Users ---
The player log is located at:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

You must have played Clawface last since all Unity games share the same player log location. You can get to this location by 'CTRL + Click'ing the Finder, selecting 'Go To Folder' and entering the path above.

--- Windows Users ---
The player log will be located at:
C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\LocalLow\Hathos Interactive, LLC\Clawface\output_log.txt

You can find the log using Windows Explorer. Navigate to your User's directory and follow the path down the 'AppData' folder.

Wrapping Up
Again, the more information you can provide us about your problem the more likely we can fix it. While not needed for every submission, you could even submit a video of you reproducing the problem! (Again, likely not needed for every issue.)

Thanks again for playing Clawface!
