Hi JPlay,
Thanks, we will look into it. Looks like a minor 'bug' and hopefuly it didn't affect your gameplay. :)
I finished the basic levels now though, just the rest of the special levels to go.
I'm guessing this game is done getting updates.
Also, why does the middle mouse button highlight the centre hex?
As a user, I would find it confusing to add new mechanics to specific without an on-ramping to their existence.
In the current state of the game, no in-game non-numeral text or animations exist to teach the player of any mechanic in the game.
As such, adding conditional mechanics to specific levels leads to outcomes such as the one reported here where users will view the lack of access to the marking feature as a bug in other levels. Additionally, you have an even greater issue where users can become confused as to why correct solutions to levels won't be accepted due to hexes marked with the right mouse button don't count towards a final solution. This is an internal disconnect with your semiotics as without in game tutorials, there is visually no reason for left clicked hexes and right clicked hexes to function differently mechanically.
This is compounded by having no system within the game to assist the player with the math of all the hexes in any given line, which then offloads the player to do all such calculations. This offload removes any in game feedback that left and right clicked hexes are not the same.
Please consider revising this system, and/or adding more affordances to users in your future games.
If you're not going to have a tutorials in your game, the game's controls should be exist everywhere, or not at all.
