Death mechanics
in "Flow," when "killed," you were simply bumped up a level, with the ability to search for more food and grow more before descending again. This makes a lot more sense than to simply force the player to completely restart

The game is not that long per run and it's consistently beatable on every breed.

Restarting on death seems fine in my opinion.

Hi, thank you for playing Sipho!

We are looking in to ways of giving ability to player have some meta progression or randomizing playthroughs without making the game too easy. We have just introduced ability to select a zooid from last run which will make synergies easier to achieve.

We also have some ideas of making the game optionally harder after killing last boss and giving player ability to grow stronger in the process. Another thing we are considering is to create challenges based on Sipho stat changes and overall game rule changes.
