There should definitively be a "Vacuole" Zooid.
One that stores nutrition (the small green orbs) in itself and slowly disperse it as healing when needed. It would make hunting small game and over-killing more worth it as you can store a reservoir of HP regen for more tougher combat.

Hey, sorry for not getting back at you here, but I'm glad you find our discord. I've noted this idea in our zooid doc. This could even work for existing zooid "buff-up" since some of current zooids are still "meh" compared to others.
