Report a translation problem
I think it's time to add an option to auto detect or force certain input mode. For now I cannot offer any kind of temporary workaround - the auto detection code is quite finnicky.
If you can play with mouse too, you could try connecting an USB mouse and moving it a bit, so game thinks you're using mouse and keyboard - which should help, but won't provide tooltips as it will expect mouse to hover.
Another solution could be somehow working around with steam input remapping, but I am not familiar with that.
Either way, I will add an option to turn off input auto detection!
I have built a test build in [staging] branch which adds option to override input device detection. The version in Options should be 1.0.0f6
To access the beta branch, click on Sipho in your Library and select Properties.
