I did the tutorial, found it lacking in content! I don't really know what to do and have no expectations which can cause a lot of misguided decision-making later.

Then tried one game, died

I saw someone in one video actually explore. Unfortunately if you're in a situation with little gasoline exploration seems like the last thing one would want to do because first aren't we trying to get home, not lally-gag, and second, we could wander, get stranded, and have nothing to trade and...you seem my point?
Finally, in one game I played last night I stock in one sector without fuel and 6 SOS signals in a row called forth space animals that destroyed my ship, ending my game.
EDIT: PS to harp more about tutorial or instructions, I personally prefer that you make as much information as possible available to players, like in the "please read" section. I will soon play a game with this in focus, on what things I wish I understood better about the game.
very cool, I'm watching the second part of Atlas gameplay right now!
How were you able to acquire so much credits? You had over 3k at the start of the second video with Atlas.

To improve:
- The tutorial it got me confused a couple of times over. I feel that need more improvement, it should be super clear how to do things, and I feel that it is not. After giving 2 tries I decided to leave the tutorial and go ahead playing the game.
- Make a more clear button to warp away. Kind of emergency escape, I want it very very clear as my panic button before I die. I still didn't figure it out how I can use it (I think I was jammed to be able to use it, but I am not sure).
- I do not want just buy from traders, I want to sell as well. It bothers me that I can only buy stuff, when instead I want to sell stuff.
Positive:
- First impression is the game is great to discover the various events, the planets and alien forms are quite fun. The names of the crew, the content, the interaction. Keep this as much variegate as possible, because it makes for great fun.
- Mechanics are great, and the graphic style too. Please, make me choose the AI picture (and if it is possible talking style) for my ship (I want to give it a name too).
Negative:
- I am just less excited by the modules. I want a medical bay and organic little garden, but it feels so much optional, that kind of upset my game style to reach the end, that I have to storage it, and just put other modules instead of that (losing armour every time that I swap). I do not know what you can do about it, but I want to be able to heal my crew.
- When people joined my crew, I would like to kinda decide if accept them or not. I had 4 more crew that I needed (2 and 2 added after close events), and I had to just freeze them to stop consuming all my food storage because they were unwanted. At least give me the option to kill them and use as food (I know, is horrible, but forced crew members in my ship felt a bit like trespassing my boundaries forcing themselves on me, it bothered me).
Good luck with the game
