NUKES
idk if theres any more developement going on, but in case there is i have a suggestion (assuming anyone reads this anyhow). nukes need to be alot more powerful ( AND EXPENSIVE ). basically right now nukes dont really feel consequential. sure they can do some damage, but they arent garunteed to save you when your up against more difficult enemies.

i feel like the resources and cost to build a nuke should be really high, and the payoff should be considerable. ofcourse not every nuke should instantly blow up the enemy ship (as there wouldnt be a need for different types of nukes), but each nuke should provide some equal measure of a consequence for being hit by one.

i think its a cool idea for when somone starts off with a ship that already has nukes that they would have to take in to consideration whether the enemy they are fighting is worth expending an entire nuke. that nukes would be used when absolutely necessary, or in a time of desperation.

of course there would have to be some balancing and mechanics to help defend against nukes being that they kinda hurt. but overall i think the game would benefit if this were to be a thing. thanks for all the work yall did on this game already. so far i enjoyed every minute of it.

So these kinda nukes do exist they are just rare. Also it seems like you need a couple to really do the job. I hear you though as many are only useful once youve already disabled the ship to a degree. I think they are meant for boss encounters or rare very dangerous exotic enemies. In thoery if you pack very good nukes and wait it may enable you to get some elite gear looted from th old enemies.

I agree though I do wish they were more effective for cost. Least for the player..
