save file corrupt

My power Cut out when i was playing and it corrupted my save file i am trying to figure out how to restore at it as i do not have it backed up

just copy the content of that folder paste it over the 01 content & overwrite
if you want to go extra cautious, make a copy of the 01 & paste it to SaveData next to 01

btw you can have in that SaveData folder several saves, which if named 01 before starting the game will allow you to play different characters if you wish so

ah, you could also try it FIRST with verifying the files
go to Steam Client, right click Hokko Life, Properties, Local Files, Verify ...

Copying over the backup files worked!!

Thank you so much. I really did not want to have to start over. I really thought I had lost everything.

Had the same thing happen and lost my save. The only issue is that there's nothing in the backup folder... So am I screwed or is there another way? I've already tried verifying the Steam files and it said all was good but the save was still corrupted. I didn't get very far in but I'd like to figure out a way to fix this in case it happens again :(

Just submitted the form - Thanks so much! Team17 helped direct me to the cloud saves (which I had no idea you could even access) so I should be able to get some of my progress back. Thanks for the direction to the bug reporting!
