Swapping From Xbox One Controller to Keyboard/Mouse

At the very beginning of the game, it prompts me to type my name. I am not able to enter any text within this box. I have tried with both a wired and wireless Xbox One controller, and a wireless mouse/keyboard using a USB dongle. I cannot proceed beyond this point, rendering me unable to play the game! Please help! Thanks!!

Had exact same issue. Keyboard does nothing. I had to hard shutdown computer to get out if game.

Hey jessdress7,

Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with Hokko Life.

When you attempt to type your name in on your keyboard and mouse set-up, is your Xbox controller still plugged in or connected to your PC at all? If so can you unplug/disconnect this, please?

We recommend typing your name using only your mouse/keyboard and then plugging in your controller via USB after this stage and attempting to play with the controller once this is completed.

Please let us know if you are able to get past this stage with the above steps - if not we can investigate this further.
