I tried deleting the game data and reinstalling but it still skips past the controller setup.
I'm having the same issue, please tell me what folder you needed to delete to reset binds?
Start the game and use your mouse and keyboard in the menu to navigate to 'control settings' and then go through the binding proces for your controller.
You can use the WASD keys to navigate the menu.
I wasn't paying attention and just pressed A on everything.
When I unistall the game I still can't get the calibration menu brought up
I had the same issue on my Deck, and just fixed it.
Here's what I did:
1. Uninstall the game on your Deck
2. Install the game on your PC, go into Properties and disable Cloud Saves. This will enable a fresh local save on your PC.
3. Open the game on your PC, and it should start fresh and ask for the controller input. Map the buttons properly this time.
4. Close the game on your PC
5. Re-enable cloud saves on your PC. It should say that your PC cloud save conflicts with your broken Steam deck cloud save.
6. Click the cloud save button and it should let you pick which one - pick the local PC save to over-ride
