UI scaling and moving inventory screens?
I initially stopped playing because there were some lacking accessibility features that I needed for my comfort, not the least of which being the ability to make the UI bigger and being able to move around inventory screens.

My eyesight isn't very good and the way my glasses are made means I don't have as much peripheral vision as others might. The lack of accessibility caused me some mild eye strain that frankly didn't need to exist if the devs just stuck in basic accessibility features at launch like they should have.

I reached out to them on Twitter about this and they said it was planned. Did they ever deliver on their promise or were those just empty words?

i know how you feel about the small print, I keep a magnifying lens beside me all the time just for that reason.
We have not heard anything from the devs about improvements or additions to the game in over a year. With over 4000 hours in the game myself, that is a little disappointing, There are some great mod additions to the game by a few people but there are some features that are sadly lacking in the game.

I didn't even know this game had a modding scene. Do any of them help with the menus at all?

I'm sorry to hear that btw. When a game starts requiring me to use a magnifying glass (or just, use my bifocals too often) I look for something else to play...

unfortunately there are no mods that make the font bigger. Maybe someone will make one.
Try playing Critter Cove , you might like it, There is a demo you can try first before buying the game, I am totally hooked on it now.

Critter Cove looks ok, but it's not multiplayer, which is why I didn't buy it tbh.

going multiplayer is apparently expensive to create in new games, but the devs have said that if every thing goes well thru the early access and full release, they will look into it.
They have also updated the demo with lots of fixes, so you can well play into the demo, and then carry your saves into full game when you are ready.

Yeah, I'll hold off on it and see how that goes. Seen too many devs dangle MP like a carrot on a stick and then not add it. It's not the kind of game I'd play singleplayer anymore.

Garden Paws came out in 2018. It's really unreasonable to expect them to keep updating a game after that long. They need to move on. It's not like it's incomplete. There are a few bugs still but nothing game breaking

This is an accessibility pitfall. I'm not talking about new features. Every game should consider basic stuff like this.

there are a lot of games out that never considered size of font for easier reading, most games are created by young devs, who dont consider that they may have a lot of older players who dont have great eyesight as we used to have. I actually have to keep a magnifying lens next to me just to read some things in games. Oh I have glasses, yes, but I am far sighted so reading small print is getting harder and harder as I get older.

I was born disabled, so it's not even an age thing really. What annoys me about this is bringing it to their attention and getting told "We're working on it" more than anything.
