Out of early early access?
But the arenas that is a main point in the game doesn't have much you can put in them instead of just walls and boxes.

The Arenas were a very tough design problem, I was experimenting with adding a lot more systems and a lot more complexity to it. I had a system where the player could set desirable and avoid areas, I had some really complex calculations to figure out how good the arena was in objective terms.

In the end I had to ask myself what the goal of the game was. Is it to engage the player in very careful and deliberate level design or is it in managing a Park? One of my inspirations for this game was RollerCoaster Tycoon and in that game what appealed to me the most was always building a giant park rather than spending hours tinkering to make the perfect rollercoaster.

So I decided to focus on the management of the Park as a whole, that's why there's a Restaurant , Coffee Shop, ATM and plenty of Fun Buildings that aren't Arenas as well as expanding the number of Arena Game Modes available.

I can see that you don't have the game, did you buy it and refund it? Was the complexity of the Arenas the main reason? What arena types did you experiment with? What about all the other buildings?

I think you'd be surprised how much people love that kind of customization in this genre. Especially if it has some game impacting mechanics and many different ways to do it "right". Seems like this could've been an excellent addition.
