Considering the following question: Tooltip says "replace", and I personally agree that it leaves some space for interpretation. Anyway, we meant that the new parking lot takes over the function of the old one, as only one working parking lot can be present on the map at the same time. The new parking lot cannot be deleted by dynamite. But you should be able to do it with the old one. The dynamite tool should replace it with grass tiles.

Alas I was so bewildered by the parking that I never bothered to save it! Would a copy still be in the locations you mentioned?
based on this, it does seem to be part of the bug as there were two concurrent ambulance parking present after I 'pasted' the new one
and no, I wasn't referring to dynamiting the new parking lot; I know that you need at least one. I am referring to the old parking lot whereby it remains untouched by dynamite. the only thing that seems to work is replacing it with grass (specifically chosen as that, not chosen as dynamite)
Visually, yes, but only one should be working from a game mechanics point of view (an ambulance can be placed on it, etc.)
Strange, the dynamite tool worked on the old parking lot just fine when I was checking yesterday.
As far as I know, this is the only case this issue has been reported, so I presume that the conditions for its manifestation must be quite rare. If you by chance manage to replicate the issue again, make/find a save, or remember something that could lead to its replication, we will be grateful for any further info.
