Cloud saves between Windows PC and Steam Deck
Does anyone know if cloud saves are compatible between a Windows PC and a Steam Deck? I noticed on steamdb that there is no "rootoverrides" section which is typically used for cross platform cloud saves.

I'm not 100% sure steam will sync the cloud saves between the windows and steam deck version, but the saves are compatible if you manually import/export them or use aground cloud.

Apparently it depends on how the developer set up the steam cloud save support. For example Valheim supports cross platform steam cloud saves but Blasphemous does not. Supposedly if it lists "savefiles" in the steamdb cloud saves section but does not have a "rootoverrides" section then there is a good chance it will not. Compare https://steamdb.info/app/892970/ufs/ to https://steamdb.info/app/876650/ufs/ . Also see here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/cloud#4 . I hope this helps.

That actually helped a lot - I never understood the root overrides section before, so I just left it blank. Cross platforms saves should now work.

I think they worked for me previously, though not 100% sure.
