You're going to need another source of flight to retrieve those. I suggest evolving a new adult dragon and riding it up there, since you'll need another dragon anyway if you keep progressing the magic path. If you're not planning to advance the magic path any more, you can alternatively buy/craft a jetpack fairly easily, and it's worth having on hand for a couple of later crafting recipes it's used in.

Edit: That is presuming you're referring to the very small floating island above Eastern Island. If it's the floating island with the cave in it, neither of my suggested options would have enough flight height to reach. A third option is to build steel ladders, if my first two suggestions don't reach or you just don't have the resources for them.

On Eastern Island, raising another dragon for dragon armor or just flying it will be the easiest. Otherwise, you are needing to return (somehow - likely through the wyrm maze) to Sunset Haven or the starting island.

Oh yeah, I hadn't even considered that without flight you're basically stuck on Eastern Island. That invalidates most of what I said; getting a new dragon would be the easiest route by far.

If the problem is not already fixed you (if far enough into the game) can dig under the ocean to the main island or the mirrows ship island (i forgot the name) and if your using mods there is a mod that allows you to recall all mounts or vehicular items (or certain mount)
