leaving the game on for a long time, bug/freeze?
so i went to sleep but let my computer on and letting aground run in the foreground just below the house on starter island, sitting there with my familiar, only turning my 2 monitors off, come back a few hours later, see my screen frozen of aground.exe ( but i see a text on character something about to focus ) when i rightclick and click on aground.exe it says "Error: Null object reference"
so i have to close the exe only to not have my game saved... very annoying, any idea what to do ?

I know some people leave the game running over night with no problems, but that can cause problems especially with mods. I'd try disabling mods (if you have any) and see if there's a specific one that causes the issue, and otherwise I'd just periodically restart the game (and your computer).

i dont use any mods, another issue i have sometimes, if it doesnt freeze, that for some reason i cant "enter my house" and save.

What do you mean, it doesn't let you save? It crashes when you save, or Z interacts with an NPC on top of the hut instead of saving? If it's the latter, go to options, and uncheck give npc priority with no quests.

i guess it crashed then but it didnt realize, no idea. there was no npc on it, i even went to my spaceship to try saving. anyways, this only happens rarely when i leave the game on for too long i guess so no big deal, but youre right i didnt realize that when it crashes it sometimes saves , so this helped me. so all good.

Sounds a bit like an OOM error.
