Domes and Space Elevator
Domes provide protection from enemies and oxygen if you build an O2 generator, Would help with bases underwater or inhospitable planets.

Space elevators for connecting space stations and planet bases together, Maybe for joint storage as well.

I'm not sure how useful domes would be especially since there are similar things, but a space elevator would be cool, if not really necessary when you can have teleportals in space stations.

A space elevator sounds cool but IMO then with the flying lab , and the Fighter Escort (?) and teleportals then I think that it's too much .
Elevator on planet , underground , is great since there is only that and carts for ore transport but considering how much the Fighter Escort can transport then I see no need for adding more transportation possibilities to space other than existing...
