Disallow crafting if it will cause overload
I build factory quite far from warehouse and this happens:

To not waste resource I just reload the game.

Warning (with 3 sec disabled OK button to prevent accidental click) may be another good option.

Will you already know about the option to send crafting stuff to warehouse.

You also should build a jetpack as that allows you to carry more weight AND fly. While flying you will not lose stamina when overweight.

@Honorable_D, I've disabled that option, I hate when I craft something to run to warehouse. And toggling is too uncomfortable.

Now I have anti-grav pack, but disregards that I've run into overweight issues not once, but several times since I start playing the game already. On screenshot above was the worst case. It seems minor, but little bad thing there, another here and you stop playing the game...

I'm not saying yer suggestion is bad and a "Craft to weight limit" option would be welcome.

But I am saying that inventory management is a part of the game and you should, you know, have to manage it—not just go brain dead by having the game do it for you. I've totally ran into the same problem and have burnt through a bunch of stamina food trying to make a run for the nearest warehouse, but I blamed myself for that and not the game.

Plus, when considering a suggestion like this, I also have to keep in mind the opposite problem: players who would be pissed off at having to clear a warning every time they wanted to craft more than they could carry. If the game could read your mind and know if you wanted to craft that many items or if it was an accident, a feature like this could be helpful, but in general I feel like it's more common that people craft a lot intentionally than accidentally. You can always craft a chest or use the elevator as a temporary holding spot so you don't have to carry all the steel to the warehouse.

I did it by accident (probably typing 45 instead of 4 or 5). And yeah, I thought how useful it would be to craft over limit, this is why I proposed to add a warning.

Btw, there is already a funny warning, when you discard last item. It's funny to see it when you just have 1 item (e.g. 1 ore). But I totally understand it and I don't discard items that often anyway.

Same here: I doubt people will craft overweight. It's more a problem to them, even if they could manage it, crafting several times in smaller batches is what they actually need more likely.

That's it. I haven't thought about it at all. Since there is an easy workaround - you don't need to do anything. But, maybe it's a good idea to teach players? Not sure how thought, if it would be a hint shown first time I get overweight, I'd forget "build chest" part and showing it everythime - annoying.

If you wouldn't mention "build something" then the next time it occurs I'd be reloading again. Until now chests to me was one of most useless items (I am just picking them up and sell). So certain players (like me) would benefit from knowing such useful combos: overweight + chest.

An option to allow the warning (default off) would possibly be a solution to both allowing the warning for those people and not having it for others who would get annoyed at it.
