There is control+click to move a full stack, but I disabled it for shops as I was worried that players would accidentally hit control and buy a full stack, losing all their money. But, I might add it back in.
Raw oil for the museum was the major issue since I had converted a lot of it into refined oil and while learning the ropes for the game I foolishly used it as a commodity to be sold. I noticed the second island on the Capt's Colony planet which resolved the issue in regards to the museum I had faced. Not sure how I missed that second island since I usually scout out planet's surfaces with an Exo Ship before doing anything on them.
Oddly raw oil cannot be purchased which almost put me in a bind having not located Death's Door yet and having mined out most planets already I could not find any anywhere else, but hey seems to be a solution to everything when you look hard enough =)
The story elements I personally don't believe would entirely be important on a new game+ being that the player kind of already knows already what is coming.
It could even tie part of the story using the time seed chamber like the wizard discovers something about it later on in an attempt to stop Earth from being destroyed or something only to send you back to where it all began due to something going wrong with the spell involving the tme chamber. Could even change a few dialogues here and there in regards to it, but nothing major or anything that changes the game/story just a few nods.
I think I get what you're saying though. it'll break some quest triggers/flags and make things disjointed and doing something along those lines to not make it so disjointed might aswell be making the same game again which is a lot of effort and time on something already at full release. So yeah it's safe to say it's a fair call not to touch upon it.
Thanks man, been a blast thus far.
Edit: TOTALLY forgot about the quick purchase button, oops!
If you could enable a feature like that man it would make things so much more smoother endgame when tying up all the loose ends, going on a completionist run or chellenging yourself like I am to colonise literally every planet and every island.
I think the safest bet would be to apply this in options if possible and put it as default turned off just to be sure no one accidentally does this like you mentioned. An accident like that before you have a good setup could really ruin someone's day, so understandable for the removal - however yeah, the option would be fantastic if you could do that pretty please!
What about a new game+ that only kept skills?
And on quick purchase, what would be really nice is if all the stores of the same type in an area just combined inventories so you could buy from all of them at once, saving you the trouble of running between 12 mineral markets buying resources lol.
