It would be nice to make all players be involved for multiplayer, although Aground was primarily made as a solo game.
As for the farmer bots, their AI is a bit weak. They tend to cluster around things with a short growth time, such as animals, to the major neglect of others.
Terraformers can only terraform land they can reach (to a depth of 8 tiles, if I remember correctly), so they can't terraform across the ocean. (They also have a horizontal limit, which is much more than a single island on the starting planet.) However, once terraforming, you can dismantle it without losing the terraformed tiles and rebuild it on a new island.
The elemental traps are effective against creatures of that element. For example, the water trap has a normal capture of 2 with x4 (8) against water creatures. Speaking of which, I wonder if the Final Boss creatures can be captured... If you need an extra strong trap, try the magnetrap. With that, almost every creature can be captured: the cyborg gunners, kraken, aliens, and I think the higher-level water dwellers (such as the carapace fish) cannot.
