Safe storage.
I played the game through recently with a couple of friends, and I thought I'd just mention a few of the things I felt as I played through.

The main storehouse was great, we used it for everything we were happy to share, but I'm sure everyone playing with others always has those items they want to keep for themselves for their own crafting. We were using a chest each for this. BOOM. The bombardment destroyed the buildings, and all our chests, and all our items.

Later in the game we used our ships for storage. I think some of the other players had their ships destroyed and lost their items again (Mine was not destroyed, so not certain about this one).

Can we make destroyed chests & ships repairable so that people don't lose their items?

Can we also get an option to change the colour of ships so we can easily work out which is the one we've been using?

I did really enjoy playing through this game with my friends, but it kind of feels like multi player was just a quick extra added on to the game. We were all playing through the game for the first time, and one player kept rushing through quests which was leaving the rest of us a bit lost on what was happening. I'm honestly not sure what to do about that part. Maybe make some of the main story quests require all players to complete to progress, and some fights require all players to be present before it starts (for example, The Old One, The Bombardment, The Last Boss).

After upgrading the kitchen, I was expecting to be able to upgrade a lot of buildings, especially the food and resource related buildings. They don't need to make stuff faster, just add a few levels of upgrades so they can hold more resources before you need to harvest them (all the farming buildings and the pens). They don't need to have new blueprints, just a button on the actual building you can use if you have the resources & meet the requirements is fine. The main crafting building also seemed to have maybe 4 different versions for mainly the same items with a couple of differences. Would be nice to roll the differences all into one building with some upgrades.

I got trapped on the final planet. I kept my little ship in one piece the whole game, then after the final boss I jumped in my ship to fly home and got a message "The planet is sealed". Someone else left first, and the rest of us were locked onto the planet. We had the spirit path open so we could leave that way, but my poor little ship is still there to this day.

Farmer bots could use a bit of AI improvement. I often saw multiple of them just sitting on the one building. They seemed to all end up on things that produce resources quickly and things that take a long time to produce just one resource get neglected (and those are generally the ones you want most).

The terraformer was a bit underwhelming. I built it on the starting island to recover the bombarded areas. For something so large and expensive I thought it would at least fix the other island as well, but no luck. Possibly make it smaller & movable?

I was using traps a lot to see how useful monsters were. I put points in trapping and used bacon, and the different sorts of traps. Would be nice if there was a way to work out which element trap I should be using for best benefit, or if some monsters just can not be captured.

Thanks for the fun. I'll play through again some time. :)

If a chest/ship is destroyed, I don't think the items in it would be in good shape. Perhaps allow retrieval of a reduced count of each item...

It would be nice to make all players be involved for multiplayer, although Aground was primarily made as a solo game.

As for the farmer bots, their AI is a bit weak. They tend to cluster around things with a short growth time, such as animals, to the major neglect of others.

Terraformers can only terraform land they can reach (to a depth of 8 tiles, if I remember correctly), so they can't terraform across the ocean. (They also have a horizontal limit, which is much more than a single island on the starting planet.) However, once terraforming, you can dismantle it without losing the terraformed tiles and rebuild it on a new island.

The elemental traps are effective against creatures of that element. For example, the water trap has a normal capture of 2 with x4 (8) against water creatures. Speaking of which, I wonder if the Final Boss creatures can be captured... If you need an extra strong trap, try the magnetrap. With that, almost every creature can be captured: the cyborg gunners, kraken, aliens, and I think the higher-level water dwellers (such as the carapace fish) cannot.
