If this occurs after playing for a long time and switching areas a lot, then it's a bug that was fixed in beta and will be live at the end of the month (having to do with shaders). Otherwise, it's a bug with the graphics card driver, and you should update it to the latest version from the manufacturer's website.

I have the same problem. Exe crashes every few mins randomly.

Have you tried updating your graphics card driver? Usually, that fixes the problem (the fix back in February changed how the game rendered to cause some older drivers to stop crashing). If you let me know what graphics card you have and what version of windows you are using, I can find the latest driver.

Hmm, that looks like the latest driver. Do you have any mods installed? Try disabling all of them except core and full version and let me know if it works. It could also be modio (which manages mods) - try right clicking aground in your steam library, click properties, go to the local files tab and delete modio.dll and see if that helps.

It crashes without using mods, i never used any. i tried also verifying game files but nothing found.

i do not know if this matters, i imported my save from Kongregate-Version and not started a new game.

It shouldn't matter if the save is imported or not. I suppose you could send me the save (just give me a link or e-mail it to david.m@fancyfishgames.com), but I doubt that's the problem. It's definitely bizarre, as there are many players who leave the game open for days to idle resources and it doesn't crash.

And I also let it in menu open, it crashed now too.

Tried out the save - there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it and it didn't crash after playing it for 10 minutes, so my guess is it's not the save. What menu caused it to crash? Does it crash consistently in a specific point or is it random? Also, maybe try disabling the steam overlay (right click aground, properties, and uncheck enable steam overlay in this game), as that gave a few other players some problems.

Trying now without overlay enabled. It crashed in main menu without loading any save. it crashes randomly when doing something or not. Testing right now.

Hmm, I don't know what to tell you then... it's definitely a problem with your computer in that case, and not the game itself if it's crashing on the title page.
