Permadeath was removed as it didn't really make sense for Aground, and a lot of people left it on by accident and lost saves. So, I replaced it with 1-hit death - it's not permadeath and you can load and continue, but if you get hit, you die, which makes a lot more sense for a super hard mode in Aground.
I understand the change from Permadeath (although I still like the idea, and it was great for deleting old saves!). Didn't you change it so the difficulty would be set for each save? If so, would you consider bringing it back, and possibly a 1-hit permadeath (hardcore and 1HP hardcore)? Thank you.
