Boomerang bug.
If you fire the boomerang then change areas or save your game before it returns your weapon slot becomes locked. Can't attack, or change weapons. It's pretty easy to avoid but it could be a hard lesson learned if you happen to save the game without realizing it's locked or have been playing a while without saving.

If you close and re-open the game, the slot will become unlocked, although the boomerang will be useless. But yeah, the boomerang projectile doesn't save, so you don't want save mid flight. Maybe I should just not lock the slot, although then it gets more complicated if you change equipment while the boomerang is in mid flight...

This seems to be able to happen without changing areas or saving. Possibly something to do with being hit by creatures while it was in flight, but I can't be sure.

Please tell me how to change the value of the boomerang in the game files as if it has returned.

umm bug for me, the boomerang is stuck on mine I can't do anything. I exit out the game and come back in and it doesn't let me change my equpiment and the boomerange disappered in my inventory. I think I got myself screwed.
