Spirit Coliseum Chimaera Bug/Exploit
I posted this yesterday, but Steam went weird on me and cancelled out my post so I'll re-post.

I ran the Spirit Coliseum in one go a day or two ago due to running low on elemental gems and this seemed like a cost effective way to obtain them at the cost of time, during which I figured out the quickest boss which oddly turned out the be the Chimaera. After fighting it a good 20-30 times some way through I noticed a weak point in it's behaviour which I was not sure was intentional or not.

I'll summarise this into steps to make it easier to replicate if anyone wants to give it a shot and confirm it:

Step 1: Enter the Chimaera Boss room in the Coliseum

Step 2: Walk towards it blocking until positioned behind the Chimaera, if done correctly you should block all attacks aside from maybe one melee attack.

Step 3: Follow it very closely behind but being wary of it's ranged attack, hug it's butt while blocking.

Step 4: The moment the Chimaera touches the wall you've got a 1.5-2 second opening to quickly jump on it's back half anywhere, turn your back to the head of the Chimaera while it is still facing/walking into the wall and hold attack - you should be swiping at it's tail/butt while standing on it with your back turned to it's head while holding attack.

Conclusion:: When done correctly this will result in the Chimaera becoming completely stun locked and will make gaining them juicy spirit points guaranteed in this fight quick and easy.

If this is unable to be replicated by anyone I can post a video showing how to replicate this bug/exploit if requested, Keep in mind that window of when it's running into the wall to the right the first time is tiny. If you can't get it on that first try it hits the wall then wait for it to turn and wander to the left wall, the window seems a bit bigger over there for some reason.

Was this intentional or something that needs to be patched out? Considering this boss has no weak points I'm not even sure I would consider it a bug and more so a feature. Either way I felt I should report it just in case.

Huh, weird, I wonder why steam hid the old post - I'll copy my response from the old post:

A few people have figured out how to stun lock the Chimera, but it's tough (I haven't been able to do it personally), so I think it's fair. Most of the boss rooms, once you get a good strategy/timing, can be beaten relatively easily, although some require more time than others simply because of the boss patterns.

Fair call. The boss really doesn't have a weakness so honestly something like this despite it being so obscure I can honestly see as something pretty fair aswell, it's certainly not an easy trick to pull off.

Thanks for the confirmation on being aware of it.
