how does this compare to SCUM for single player?
I am looking for another survival game to try out in-between my playing of Rust. Also, it looks like SCUM lets you play a truly single player mode which also lets you fully customize how you want the game to play via option sliders... that is pretty cool NGL.

But as far as NPC enemies, POIs, stuff to do, which game do you think has the better single player/PVE play? Yes I do like pvp, but playing against online sweats all the time can get tiring.

There is no offline mode but the PvE scene is pretty good. You don't really compete for missions and if you are on a low pop server it is just as good as offline. The NPCs can be a bit annoying with seeing you from about 1km away and they will shoot at you with shotguns from that range. The POIs are pretty spread out and each one has a tactic to it. All in all if you are tired of Puppets/Zombies and just want a good FPS to play, this one is decent at scratching that itch.
