i have the same problem

i have got the same issue. When i got it right, the problem is when you use your steam account on different computers. For me, i use it on my desktop and laptop. On laptop i "created" the account. On the Desktop now i get the error message. Reason:

"If you're having issues signing into accounts (MismatchedProductUserIDs and LinkAccountFail), make sure you are not trying to log into multiple accounts on your platform (Steam/Google Play/Epic/etc.) - right now the game only supports connecting one account to the game. This also could happen if you are logged into the same account on multiple devices."

But even if i have the correct Username from Laptop - there is no chance for me to type it in. I can only choose a random name which results in the error message.

I have my steam account on 3 machines, and I have the issue on all three

i signed out and it still has the same message

I have followed the steps below:
Fix 1. Restart your Computer, this should work most of the time.
Fix 2. Sign out of your account, Randomize name 3+ times, and log in
Fix 3. Re-install Among us again.
Fix 4. Completely wipe among us off your computer, By:
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
Inside of that folder, Locate the Among Us Folder, and Delete it.
2. Go to C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE\AppData\LocalLow
Locate "Innersloth" Folder and delete it.
3. Finally, go to steam, right click, manage, "Uninstall". That should remove EVERY trace of Among Us, to my knowledge.
4. Reinstall Among us

Still the same issue

Having the same issue since last night. Played on my living room laptop and now I can not get into it on my PC. Has anyone figured it out yet. I have literately did everything but buy a new copy.

yup me too. I have my steam account on both laptop and PC. I was trying to log in but welp

Got the exact same issue. I logged into my steam account from my bf's Laptop and created the among us account the first time on his laptop. I logged signed off and logged out of my steam account. I am not able to log into the among us account from my computer. We did everything we could in order to make sure he is not logged into my account. It still won't work. We think its bc its only able to sign in on the computer you initially created the account on. We still haven't been able to fix it.. so no among us for me

Srsly? That sucks.. I am trying daily to log into the account from my pc... but no luck yet :(.. haven't gotten an answer from the support yet..

Oh man good to know that I'm not alone in having this issue. Created an account on my family desktop but can't log in on my laptop and I'm very :/// really hoping the devs fix this soon

I have this problem, too. What's worst is that since I can't log in to my account, I can't use the regular chat. I tried playing around with the playerprefs file with Notepad in the LocalLow/Innersloth/AmongUs folder, but haven't accomplished much. Everything that I change gets changed back upon loading the game. I also tried setting the file to read only, but then the game gets stuck on the loading screen with the crewmate running across the bottom of the screen. I can see the date I put in for my birthday in the file. It lists that right next to today's date and time, so the game knows that I am over 18 (or more specifically, I have at least put in that I am over 18). The profile problem needs to be fixed, but until then, the quick chat option needs to be unlocked.

My computer reset and i lost my thing so now i cant sign in permanently

I just got a new computer and I get this error on it. Went back to the old computer where the game was working fine, was prompted to login, and, sure enough, same error there. Pretty lame.
