Kohan II: Kings of War

Kohan II: Kings of War

Modding game
Hello. I dont know if anyone i still alive here, and i dont know where to ask. But i want to know how to change projectile color, not replacing model, but change color of existing one. I know color template such as tint, but it works slow, and usually projectile hit the target when tint VFX applied, it it possible to make it faster, or apply color directly to the projectile without Creating VFX related to color change. I also found template related to projectile texture change, but it very complicated and i dont know how to make it work.

Hello, I'm quiet new to Kohan community on Steam, so not sure how much players check discussion. From what I've noticed in VFX description template(vfx files in Template directory) can add line to change color same as tint. Didn't used it when worked on mod so can't garantee how it works, editing texture should have better result.
Funny enough i realised it only now, that you are Darquan Mortis himself. I never thought that i could meet creator of arcane wars.

It's me "In the letters", just not sure if I deserve fame for releasing unfinished mod, making some waves in community and disappearing for decade.
Well kohans always did the same.
And besides that its most compicated and worked out to the smallest detail of all mods for this forgotten game

Thank you, absence of datadisk and some of mods like Titan mod and Immortals were inspiration for my mod too and over time it grown into Arcane Wars.
Kohan series are strategies that unfortunately never get fame they deserve and are mostly forgotten in mainstream, still it has community that apparently keeps game alive. Some players that are here were active part of community when Arcane Wars was released, I've just been more of externist as mod was developed mostly without their knowledge.
Anyway in last month I kinda started to work on mod again, not sure if situation allows to finish 0.8 version, but I should at least create discussion thread that it's in development again.
