can't play multiplayer

gamespy is down for the count and I couldn't figure out how to play with my brother after 3 exhaustive google searches.

can you point me in the right direction? just trying to play with a buddy.

Also, Tunngle can be a good solution as you can host games in 'LAN'

soo we couldn't figure out gameranger and tunngle is down.
we enter the same kohan room, host launches and nothing happens. not sure what we're supposed to do from there.

What worked for my bro and me.
1st solution - If you are connected to internet via same router then just choose Lan Game and one of you host it. It should appear on list and you can play.
2nd sol - Get logme hamachi and create room there. Connect to it. Then enter Lan Game and press "direct connect" and type-in w/e numbers are written in your hamachi room adress.
