Right now it's the same, check my review.
But EA is where future updates will happen, while beta (properly known as playtest) will probably go out soon.

Thanks for this question, had this exact one yesterday and couldn't find any info.

Happy to be supporting this project even if it's the same as the playtest right now.
Hope it becomes as fleshed out as we are all hoping.

Judging from the pace they updated the playtest before the EA release, you won't have to wait for long.
My two cents would be that we should be seeing some new contents within a month at the absolutely latest.
