At the end of the day, it's a basic RTS. For 22 zł (around 6 USD), I squeezed out 33 hours of playtime, which is a solid price-to-time spent ratio. It's just extremely unpolished, but nonetheless if you're a fan of the genre, I can recommend buying it on a sale.

To elaborate, the fundamentals of the gameplay are solid. The campaigns are enjoyable as well, there's a lot of content and the each mission feels different. I also appreciate focusing on less known events and characters, like the Great Prussian Uprising.

Unfortunately, there's also a lot to complain about. I've met with a pathfinding bug in 2/3 of the maps, where my units just run towards a river and stand there on its shore rather than get to where I wanted them to. There's no real way to disengage from a fight, other than making your units flee. But doing so makes them run in a straight line to your base, regardless of the dangers, which makes using cavalry charges extremely clunky. Finally, you often spawn with some unique high tier units when starting a new map. Which you can't replenish in your main base, since "you don't have the appropriate building". But you can run to just any village centre and replenish the unit over there. Like, what? I dunno, I just feel like the game didn't get enough post-launch polish to truly shine, despite the good base, it's not given enough love to be flawless, so here it is, a basic RTS with a lot of content, dragged down because of the lack of many quality of life features.

I still recommend the game, I enjoyed these 33 hours, but it's a shame to see that this game could have been even better if given more attention.
