Automatic Refund Issue, Game Refunded When I Didn't Submit Request
Recently there was a great sale on a bunch of Dragon Ball games, so I picked up Dragon Ball FighterZ: FighterZ Edition because it was 60% off from around $94 to around $40. I played it for about 45 minutes. I then didn't play for a few days, and when I went back to play it earlier today, it said I requested a refund the day after I got the game.

I checked my Steam wallet, and sure enough 40-some dollars had been refunded back into my Steam account. I got the money, so that's not the issue, but the sale is no longer active and I would like the product that I bought on sale back for the price I originally paid. I already submitted a help request to customer support a couple of hours ago, but I have yet to receive a reply.

Have any of you experienced something similar to this? Do you have any solutions? Let me know if any more information is needed to solve this problem, thank you!

EDIT: I don't believe my account was hacked, I have alerts and 2-step verification turned on and there has been no activity.

EDIT: It looks like what happened to me was just an extremely weird random glitch. After emailing back and forth with customer support, on their end it just looks like I requested a refund normally, and that I did so from the same location that I was emailing them from (my home). This means that my account was not hacked, and it was just a weird occurence. It's kind of frustrating, but sometimes things just don't work out. At least I know my account was not hacked. Again, thanks for the effort towards any potential solutions, but it looks like all that can be solved, is solved.

Does someone else have access to your account by any chance?

are there ANY sites listed there, any at all, and if so what ones? if you already API authorized a site, the 2-step auth won't do squat for anything other than trading

The source of the income is what i would question. What exactly did you purchase the game with?

And to reflect on Spawn's response someone may have accessed your computer one way or another to initiate the refund.

No I'm not even entirely sure what API is to be honest. I have 2 factor authentication to both my phone and my email, and the only device I am logged in on/have ever logged in on is my home computer.

I purchased the game with funds in my steam wallet balance, which then went back into my steam wallet after the refund so no money is missing.

I don't think someone accessed the computer because the only device I'm logged on is my home computer, which isn't shared with my house mates and is password protected.

SO there were no sites listed on that page then?

Yeah not sure what to say about this...Steam does not automatically initiate a refund unless there was a payment processing error.

How would I go about getting the original sale price if it was a payment processing error?

You don't. You wait until the next sale.

What was the purchase made from, Wallet, paypal, debit/credit?
