Steam slow download
So today I decided to start downloading a pretty large game sitting around 50 gbs. However my download is only running at 1 mbps. Then I check the steam network usage under task manager and its using 12 mbps which I thought is pretty weird. So I'm wondering what they're using the rest of it for.

I have finally found a solution to steams slow downloads, hope this works for you too. Disable Write caching on your HDD or SSD. this problem plagued me for years until I did this. :)
